Please read these important instructions before lighting your candles.
Allow your candles to reach room temperature before lighting.

1.  Always use extreme care when lighting a candle.  A burning candle with a flame is an open fire. Never leave a burning candle unattended

2.  Keep wicks trimmed to 1/4" and centered to avoid excessive flame and smoke.  Remove all wick debris before light each time.

3.  Burn your candle on a flat level surface out of reach of children and pets.  Also keep burning flame away from drafts.  The flame in your candle should not flicker, the flame should be still at all times. If the flame is flickering it is in the path of a draft and needs to be moved to another safe location.

4. Never let a candle burn for more than 2-3 hours.

5.  If your wick begins to smoke or the flame becomes to high, extinguish the candle immediately, let cool and trim the wick to 1/4" from wax.  A wick trimmer or a nail clipper works well for triming the wick.  A high flame and smoke means your wick is too high and its time to trim it!

6.  Do not burn your candle around something that can easily be ignited with the candle's flame.

7.  To avoid smoking when you extinguish your candle its a great idea to use a wick dipper to extinguish your candle.
